Walk & Talk counselling offers a refreshing alternative to traditional therapy. Instead of sitting in a room, we walk side-by-side in a natural setting while talking through whatever feels important to you.
Nature has a powerful calming effect on the nervous system. Gentle movement can help release tension, reduce anxiety and create a sense of forward motion. Many people find it easier to open when walking, as it can feel less intense than sitting face-to-face.
Sessions take place in agreed areas of Cassiobury Park or Rickmansworth Aquadrome, offering privacy while benefiting from open space and fresh air.
Walk & Talk May Be Ideal If You:
Comfortable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended. In cases of extreme weather, sessions may be rescheduled or moved online.
